Scholarships
All about our students
A decision to establish a new scholarship or contribute to an existing scholarship is one of the more personal ways to give to KSU. A scholarship directly impacts students and can be established for financial need, merit or other purposes. A scholarship gift is an excellent way to relieve some of the burden of a student’s educational expenses while rewarding hard work and academic excellence. Gifts of any size can be directed toward support for existing scholarships. New undergraduate and graduate scholarships may be established by a donor and designated to a specific college or program.
Creating an Endowed Scholarship
- Named scholarships may be endowed at KSU with a gift or pledge of $50,000 or more, which can be paid out over five years, or through one’s estate plans.
- Scholarships are awarded each year from the endowment fund in perpetuity.
