SPC LT Org Chart - November 2018

The SPC LT plans all events and activities of the organization, sets goals for the organization and its growth, and works to make sure that students understand the value of giving back to KSU first as students then later as alumni.

If you are interested in learning more or potentially joining the SPC LT, email us via the contact information below, or at studentphilanthropy@kennesaw.edu.

  • I give back because I understand the importance of helping others just as others helped me.  Having received scholarships, financial aid, and just so many opportunities throughout my own college career, I know I simply would not be where I am if others hadn't provided not just the funding but the time and support that enabled those opportunities to exist.  I want others to have similar and even better experiences, so I give what I can when I can -- sometimes more than at others.  But every bit helps!”

  • I have a passion for people, and I believe that you can change the lives of many through small acts of gratitude.  Giving back is one of those acts!  By donating and giving back, I can work to ensure that all students have the opportunity to a pursue higher education and have the help and support they might need to do so.”

  • I give because I enjoy giving back to those who can benefit from it.  I played sports growing up and my mom couldn't afford it. So many people in my community helped out in so many ways from paying our fees, uniforms, and giving rides.  I viewed everyone supporting us, and I promised that I would do the same when I got older so that others can take what  I did for them and pay it forward to the next person.”

  • I never thought going to college would be something I could do given that I didn’t come from a wealthy family. However, I’ve been surprised at the amount of scholarships there are, and because of them, I haven’t had to stress about finances for school.  As a result, I understand the importance of giving back and helping those who may have been in the same situation as me, and I want to do everything I can to help out.”

  • Giving back is super important because without contributions from generous donors, a lot of us would not be where we are today.  I love contributing to scholarships, and I believe in the mission of SPC because it  contributes to the betterment of KSU. We need more organizations on campus willing to contribute back to the well-being of the University so that the institution continues to thrive for years to come.”
